Ezz Steel Rebound and an investment conference are scheduled to take place in Egypt later in the year.

Samih Shoukry, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, led Egypt's delegation at the tenth meeting of the Egypt-European Union Association Council in Brussels on January 23. The meeting was co-chaired by Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. Rania Al-Mashat, the Minister of International Cooperation, and several foreign ministers from EU member states were also present.


Sameh Shoukry, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met on Monday, January 22, 2024, with Oliver Varhelyi, the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Policies, during a working dinner hosted by the Commissioner in honor of the Foreign Minister, on the occasion of his visit to Brussels.



Minister Shukri expressed Egypt's expectation of the European Union's support for an investment conference scheduled to take place in Egypt later in the year. The conference aims to promote Egypt's attractive investment capabilities and encourage the participation of small and medium-sized European companies in the Egyptian market. He also highlighted Egypt's strategy to enhance the role of the private sector in sustainable development and the incentives provided by Egypt to improve the investment climate.
