Vodafone Egypt has secured approval from the Central Bank of Egypt to augment its ownership interest from 10% to 20% in TPE Mis for Payment Solutions and Services (Bee) and Application and Payment Systems Development Company (Masary). These enterprises function as subsidiaries under the umbrella of Basata Holding for Financial Payments (Basata), a subsidiary of MTI and BINV.
Upon the completion of this transaction, Basata will maintain an 80% ownership stake in Bee and a 63.5% ownership stake in Masary, encompassing both direct and indirect shares.
