The market's exceptional performance is further accentuated by the impressive turnover witnessed across various sectors. By midway through the session, the market turnover surpassed a staggering EGP 48 billion, underscoring the robust activity and investor enthusiasm.



Update 1: In an exhilarating session, the Egypt EGX market has witnessed a remarkable rally, with the EGX30 index displaying an impressive display of strength and resilience. By 12:37 CLT on October 17, 2023, the EGX30 surged to an unprecedented high, reaching a staggering 21,566 points.






Several notable companies have played a pivotal role in this remarkable market performance. MOPCO - MFPC has once again soared to a historical high of EGP 629 per share, demonstrating its consistent upward trajectory. Meanwhile, Elswedy Electric-SWDY has set a new historical price record, with shares priced at EGP 27.59, showcasing the company's robust growth.


Not to be outdone, Talaat Moustafa Group - TMGH has shattered its all-time high historical price, surpassing the previous record of EGP 15.12 set in November 2007. The company's shares reached EGP 15.38/share by 12:28 CLT.
