Minister Dr. Rania Al-Mashat Meets with Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih

Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, welcomed Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih and his delegation to Egypt. The group included Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Saleh Al-Husseini, Sarah Al-Sayed, Deputy Head of the Investment Marketing Authority, and Mohamed Al-Saheb, Deputy Minister of Investment for Sector Development, among other officials. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and strengthening investment partnerships, particularly in priority sectors, given Egypt's current emphasis on private sector investment.


Dr. Al-Mashat highlighted the extensive Saudi investments in Egypt and the government's commitment to fostering a competitive investment environment. She emphasized the role of the private sector in driving sustainable growth and job creation and outlined the government’s goals of human development and local industry growth as key components of its economic strategy. The meeting also covered the ministry's efforts to support structural reforms through budgetary financing and improve the investment climate.
