Egyptian Prime Minister Unveils New Measures to Address Electricity Shortage"

Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, recently unveiled additional measures aimed at tackling the country's electricity shortage. The steps include Importing Mazout for a total of USD 250-300 million - one of the main revenue-generating products in the AMOC product mix . The government will also continue rationalizing the use of public lighting to conserve energy. Furthermore, starting from August 6/8/2023, a working-from-home policy will be implemented for the public sector, with the viability of the initiative dependent on the workforce's specific circumstance
