The Egyptian government recently embarked on a roadshow in London, the roadshow comes parallel with the annual British Egyptian Business Association (BEBA) Annual Business Mission. The delegation included Dr. Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority, Eng. Hassan Al Khatib, Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk, and Rami Aboul Naga, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt.
During the forum, government representatives held a series of meetings with investors, fund managers, international banks, investment banks, and major corporations. The focus was on presenting Egypt’s investment environment and opportunities, alongside highlighting the government's reforms aimed at attracting foreign investments.
Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance, met with representatives from PricewaterhouseCoopers and HSBC, participated in J.P. Morgan’s Emerging Markets Credit Conference, and held talks with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), along with more than 20 investors in a session organized by HSBC.
Meanwhile, Eng. Hassan Al-Khatib met with key representatives from Jefferies Investment Bank, Standard Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB).
