Bullish Sentiment Prevails at EGX as Investors Return After Eid Adha Vacation

Following the conclusion of the Eid Adha vacation, investors have rejoined the market with enthusiasm, driving the EGX 30 index up by a notable 2.47%, equivalent to an increase of around 650 points. Several key stocks at EGX have experienced remarkable appreciation, with ALCn surging by 8.9%, ETEL by 7.1%, and HRHO by 6.9%.


Notably, Orascom Investments and Financial (OIH - OFH), outside the EGX30 index, have outperformed the market today, demonstrating extraordinary trading volumes. OIH has reached the limit up with a remarkable 20% increase, trading at EGP 0.42 per share, while OFH is exhibiting an impressive gain of 11.50%. Furthermore, BINV, which holds a majority stake in OFH, has also enjoyed a positive upswing of 5.54%.
